Horse people are just so wonderful. I especially love seeing adults continue their equine journey! It’s so easy to just stop riding after we have so much of a “life”, but those of us that have the horse bug know, there ain’t no getting rid of it! Well, onward to what you came for, photos:

I got to photograph a past bride of mine’s step daughter, Miss Grace, in preparation for her big Quinceañera Ceremony! For those of you that do not know what a Quinceañera is here is a quoate from Wikipedia:
“
Quinceañera in some Latin American countries is a coming of age ceremony held on a girl’s fifteenth birthday, comparable to a Sweet Sixteen celebration.
Planning begins up to a year in advance, and everyone is involved. The family priest will perform a Quinceañera ceremony in church. The girl’s baptismal godparents will oversee the spiritual celebration, and her many friends and relatives will attend to see the recognition she will receive as she makes the transition from girl to young lady in everyone’s eyes.
Quinceañera are comparable in scope and grandeur to weddings, and the party atmosphere that follows the somewhat more subdued religious atmosphere. There is a significant dress, just as with a wedding, and can be just as expensive and unique as a wedding gown. Flowers and decorations are selected to match the color scheme of the festivities, a reception is held at which guests will be served a grand meal and there will be much dancing and merriment for all in attendance. Often, a live band or DJ are hired for the evening and the atmosphere is energetic and fun. A traditional shoe ceremony is also included.”
So, onward to some photos of the lively Grace:

I got to spend some time photographing Darby yesterday at Rhodes college! Take a look at a few from the session ( doesn’t she look lovely!? ), more to come:

Let’s find YOUR sexy!!!
Lynn rides horses with me at Tri Color Equestrian and she asked me to photograph her whole family including her parents, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! When I asked how they stayed together all these years, they replied that they were stubborn enough to work through all their problems and that they have learned to also not let the small things upset them. What great advice!
I also photographed these darling girls, such little dolls full of light and energy.
It was a joy…. now onto some photos:

OH….MY…. GOODNESS!!! Could this child and this pony be any more adorable????!!! I don’t think so:

Hey everyone!
Here is a sneak preview of little baby Noah! Isn’t he just the cutest?!

This is Melanie and her lovely horse, Dancer. They were the first of this month’s photo session special for equestrians! I had such a great time photographing them, Dancer is quite the handsome guy and Mel isn’t so bad herself!
Thanks you two for being great subjects!
